Send out DVDs - most people never watched or returned them, so I was stuck each month buying even more... Direct people to the company-provided webpage - it's such a complicated website prospects would get lost for days on there... and you can forget about Google ever listing it in search results! Cold call businesses and ask for referrals - the phone felt heavier each time I lifted it... Stand at events - everyone loved the free samples, but that was all they did love... Home parties - pay for the drinks, the nibbles, the samples to try; does anyone actually go to home parties to buy anything?! Attend every company event - yes, Lord...
